Ingredients

  • 1 can (14 oz) or 1 cup grass jelly (canned or homemade), drained
  • ½ cup cooked tapioca pearls (small)
  • 1 can (13.5 oz) coconut milk (full-fat)
  • 3 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1.5 cups water
  • 2 cups ice
  • 2 tbsp total optional toppings: roasted peanuts, sesame seeds, or cooked mung beans

Instructions

    Pour coconut milk into a small bowl and stir in sugar until dissolved, about 1 minute.

    Fill two tall glasses halfway with ice.

    Divide grass jelly and tapioca pearls evenly between the two glasses.

    Pour coconut mixture equally into both glasses, filling about three-quarters full.

    Top off each glass with cold water to fill, then stir gently to combine.

    Sprinkle with peanuts or sesame seeds if using, then serve with a spoon and straw.
