Ingredients
- 4 pieces chicken drumsticks
- 3 pieces dried guajillo chiles
- 2 pieces dried ancho chiles
- 3 pieces garlic cloves
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 cup water

Stem and seed the dried chiles, then toast them in a dry skillet for 30 seconds per side.

Soak the chiles in hot water for 20 minutes until soft, then drain.

Blend the chiles with garlic, cumin, oregano, vinegar, salt, and 1/2 cup water into a smooth sauce.
