Ingredients
- 4 slice bread slices
- 4 slice cheese slices
- ½ medium cucumber
- ¼ medium red onion
- 4 leaf lettuce leaves
- 2 tbsp butter

Thinly slice the 1/2 cucumber and 1/4 red onion into rounds. Rinse and pat dry the 4 lettuce leaves.

Spread 1 tbsp butter on one side of each of the 4 bread slices.

Place 2 slices of bread, buttered side down, in a skillet over medium heat. Top each with 2 cheese slices and cook until the cheese starts to melt, about 2-3 minutes.

Add the cucumber, onion, and 2 lettuce leaves on top of the melted cheese on each slice.

Top with the remaining bread slices, buttered side up. Flip the sandwiches and cook until the bread is golden and crisp, about 2-3 minutes more.
