Ingredients
- 2 whole croissants, large
- 6 oz fresh mozzarella
- 3 tbsp basil pesto
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 small (optional) tomato, ripe
Instructions

Split the croissants horizontally and spread 1.5 tbsp pesto on each bottom half.

Tear mozzarella into thick pieces and layer over pesto on both halves, dividing evenly.

Top with croissant lids. Spread 0.5 tbsp butter on the outside of each top and bottom.

Heat a skillet over medium-high until butter foams, ~90 seconds.
