Ingredients
- 1 lb pork shoulder, thinly sliced (or pork butt)
- 3 tbsp fish sauce
- 3 tbsp palm sugar (or brown sugar)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp lime juice
- 8 count wooden skewers (8-inch)
Instructions
- 1
Soak skewers in cold water for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, whisk together fish sauce, palm sugar, garlic, and lime juice in a small bowl.
- 2
Thread pork slices tightly onto skewers, accordion-folding each strip so it layers compactly from base to tip.
- 3
Brush the glaze generously over all sides of the pork skewers, coating them well.
- 4
Heat a grill or grill pan to high. Grill skewers 2 to 3 minutes per side until edges char and meat firms up.
- 5
Transfer to a plate and brush with any remaining glaze while still hot. Let rest 2 minutes before serving.
