Ingredients
- 12 pieces dumpling wrappers
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- ½ cup ice water
- 1 large egg
- 2 cups vegetable oil
- 2 tbsp seaweed strips

In a bowl, whisk the 1 egg and 0.5 cup ice water. Add the 0.5 cup flour and stir until just combined; the batter should be lumpy.

Heat the 2 cups vegetable oil in a deep pot to 350°F (175°C). Dip each of the 12 dumpling wrappers into the batter, letting excess drip off.

Carefully place a few battered wrappers into the hot oil. Fry until golden and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side, turning once.

Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Sprinkle with the 2 tbsp seaweed strips while still warm.
