Ingredients
- 4 pieces stroopwafels (store-bought)
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- ⅓ cup brown sugar, packed
- ¼ cup heavy cream
- ¼ tsp sea salt
- 2 cups hot coffee or cocoa
- ¼ tsp vanilla extract

Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat, then add brown sugar and stir for 1 minute until combined.

Remove from heat. Pour in cream and vanilla, stir until smooth, then sprinkle in sea salt and stir once more.

Pour hot coffee or cocoa into two mugs. Top each mug with two stroopwafels, letting them soften from the steam.
