Ingredients

  • 8 leaves Butter lettuce or large green lettuce leaves
  • ½ cup Fresh mint leaves
  • ½ cup Fresh cilantro leaves
  • 6 oz Strawberries, sliced thin
  • 1 medium Cucumber, cut into thin matchsticks
  • 1 medium Carrot, julienned
  • 3 tbsp Fish sauce
  • 1 lime, 0.25 tsp chili, 1 clove Lime (juiced) + red chili flakes + minced garlic

Instructions

    Whisk together fish sauce, lime juice, minced garlic, and red chili flakes in a small bowl. Set the dipping sauce aside.

    Pat lettuce leaves dry and arrange them on a large platter or cutting board.

    Pile cucumber matchsticks, carrot julienne, mint, and cilantro into a shallow bowl or spread across the platter.

    Scatter strawberry slices over the vegetables so they're visible and inviting.

    Pour the chili-lime sauce into a small serving bowl and place it in the center of the platter.

    To eat: place lettuce leaf on your palm, add a pinch of each vegetable and a strawberry slice, roll tightly, dip in sauce, and eat with your hands.
