- 3 large eggs
- ½ cup sugar
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon powdered sugar

Preheat the oven to 375°F. Butter a 9-inch pie dish or cast-iron skillet with 1 tablespoon of the butter.

Hull and halve the 1 pound strawberries, then arrange them cut-side down in the prepared dish.

In a blender, combine the 3 eggs, 0.5 cup sugar, 0.5 cup flour, 1 cup milk, 1 teaspoon vanilla, and the remaining 1 tablespoon butter. Blend until smooth, about 30 seconds.

Pour the batter over the strawberries. Bake until the clafoutis is puffed and golden, and a knife inserted in the center comes out clean, about 35 minutes.
