Ingredients

  • 2.5 lbs pre-cooked baby back ribs (about 2 racks)
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 3 tbsp bourbon or whiskey
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 clove garlic cloves, minced

Instructions

  1. 1

Preheat your broiler to high. Line a sheet pan with foil.

  2. 2

Heat butter in a small saucepan over medium. Add minced garlic and cook 30 seconds until fragrant.

  3. 3

Stir in brown sugar, bourbon, vinegar, and smoked paprika. Simmer 2 minutes, stirring constantly until sugar dissolves and glaze thickens slightly.

  4. 4

Brush ribs generously on both sides with glaze. Arrange meat-side up on the prepared sheet pan.

  5. 5

Broil 4–5 minutes, watching closely, until glaze caramelizes and bubbles at the edges. Do not let it burn.

  6. 6

Flip ribs, brush with remaining glaze, and broil 2–3 minutes more until the second side is sticky and golden.
