Ingredients

  • 1 rack baby back ribs (one 2-3 lb rack), membrane removed
  • ⅓ cup brown sugar
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 3 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 2 tbsp hot sauce (Frank's or similar)

Instructions

  1. 1

Position oven rack 4-6 inches from broiler. Pat ribs dry and season both sides generously with salt and pepper.

  2. 2

Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Whisk in brown sugar, vinegar, hot sauce, and paprika until smooth and glossy, ~2 minutes.

  3. 3

Lay ribs meat-side up on a foil-lined baking sheet. Brush generously with glaze, coating both sides.

  4. 4

Broil 8-10 minutes without moving. Brush with remaining glaze and flip to bone-side up.

  5. 5

Broil 4-5 minutes more until glaze bubbles and edges char slightly. Meat should pull back from bones.

  6. 6

Rest 2 minutes, then slice between bones and serve hot.
