Ingredients

  • 1 rack pre-cooked baby back ribs (1 rack, about 2 lbs)
  • 1 lb beef steak (ribeye or NY strip, 1 lb total)
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika

Instructions

  1. 1

Mix honey, soy sauce, vinegar, and paprika in a small bowl until smooth.

  2. 2

Pat steak dry and season with salt and pepper on both sides.

  3. 3

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high until it shimmers, about 60 seconds.

  4. 4

Sear steak 2 minutes per side without moving—center should still be pink. Transfer to a plate.

  5. 5

Brush ribs on both sides with glaze and broil 3–4 minutes per side until edges blacken and sticky.

  6. 6

Slice steak against the grain and plate alongside ribs. Drizzle any remaining glaze over top.
