- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- ½ cup breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 sprigs fresh rosemary
- ½ tsp black pepper
Instructions
- 1
In a large bowl, combine 1 lb ground pork, 2 tbsp soy sauce, 1/2 cup breadcrumbs, 1 beaten egg, 2 minced garlic cloves, and 1/2 tsp black pepper. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overwork.
- 2
Shape the mixture into 4 equal patties, about 1 inch thick. Place them on a plate that fits inside your steamer basket.
- 3
Fill a wok or large pot with 2 inches of water and bring to a boil over high heat. Place the steamer basket with the patties over the boiling water, cover, and reduce heat to medium.
- 4
Steam the patties until they are cooked through and firm to the touch, about 20-25 minutes. The internal temperature should reach 160°F.
