Steak with Garlic Herb Butter and French Fries

Ingredients
- 450 g frozen french fries
- 2 steaks (about 250g each) ribeye or sirloin steak
- 3 tbsp butter
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley
- 1 to taste salt and pepper

Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F). Spread the 450g frozen fries on a baking sheet and bake until golden and crispy, about 20 minutes, shaking halfway.

While fries bake, pat the 2 steaks dry and season generously with salt and pepper on both sides.

Heat a large skillet over high heat. Add the steaks and cook for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until browned and cooked to your liking.

In the last minute of cooking, add the 3 tbsp butter, 2 minced garlic cloves, and 2 tbsp chopped parsley to the skillet. Spoon the melting butter over the steaks.

Remove steaks from skillet and let rest for 5 minutes. Serve with the crispy fries and spoon any extra herb butter over the top.
