Ingredients
- 1 sheet (about 10 × 14 inches) frozen puff pastry sheet
- 1.5 cups whole milk
- 1 packet (3.5 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- 2 tbsp pearl sugar (or coarse sugar)
- 1 whole egg, beaten

Heat oven to 400°F. Whisk milk and pudding mix for 2 minutes until thick, then let sit while you prep the pastry.

Thaw puff pastry at room temperature for 5 minutes until pliable. Lay on parchment paper.

Spread custard evenly over pastry, leaving a 1/2-inch border on all sides.

Roll the pastry tightly from the long side into a log. Coil it into a spiral and place on a baking sheet.
