Ingredients
- 1 lb squid rings
- 28 oz canned crushed tomatoes
- 4 cloves garlic cloves
- 1 sprig fresh rosemary
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 2 cups cooked rice

Heat the 2 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the 4 garlic cloves, minced, and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.

Add the 28 oz crushed tomatoes, 1 sprig rosemary, 1 tsp salt, and 0.5 tsp black pepper. Stir and bring to a simmer, then reduce heat to low and cook for 10 minutes, until slightly thickened.

Add the 1 lb squid rings to the sauce. Stir to coat, then cover and simmer gently for 15-20 minutes, until the squid is tender and opaque.

Remove the rosemary sprig. Taste and adjust seasoning with more salt or pepper if needed.
