Ingredients

  • 1 lb squid
  • 4 stalks green onions
  • 2 tbsp gochujang
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. 1

Clean the 1 lb squid: remove the head, tentacles, and quill, then rinse and pat dry. Slice the body into rings and cut the tentacles into pieces.

  2. 2

In a small bowl, mix 2 tbsp gochujang, 1 tbsp soy sauce, and 1 tbsp honey to make a sauce. Slice 4 green onions into 2-inch pieces, separating white and green parts.

  3. 3

Heat 1 tbsp vegetable oil in a large skillet over high heat. Add the white parts of the green onions and stir-fry until fragrant, about 30 seconds.

  4. 4

Add the squid and sauce to the skillet. Stir-fry over high heat until the squid turns opaque and curls, about 3-4 minutes.

  5. 5

Stir in the green parts of the green onions and cook for another 30 seconds until wilted. Serve immediately with rice if desired.
