Ingredients

  • 12 fl oz Mexican lager or pilsner
  • ½ whole fresh lime
  • ½ tsp hot sauce (Valentina or Tabasco)
  • ¼ tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp chili powder (for rim)
  • 4 whole ice cubes

Instructions

  1. 1

Pour chili powder and a pinch of salt onto a shallow plate. Run lime around the rim of a tall glass, then dip the rim into the chili mixture to coat.

  2. 2

Fill the glass with ice. Squeeze lime juice into the glass—roughly one lime's worth.

  3. 3

Add hot sauce and Worcestershire sauce to the glass. Stir once to combine.

  4. 4

Pour the cold beer slowly into the glass until full. Stir gently to mix.

  5. 5

Serve immediately with a lime wedge.
