Ingredients
- 1.5 lb chicken wings
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 2 cup vegetable oil
- ¼ cup sriracha
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
Instructions
- 1
Pat the 1.5 lb chicken wings dry with paper towels, then toss them with the 0.5 cup flour and a pinch of salt and pepper until evenly coated.
- 2
Heat the 2 cups vegetable oil in a deep skillet over medium-high until a pinch of flour sizzles immediately, about 350°F. Fry the wings in batches without crowding, turning occasionally, until golden brown and cooked through, about 10-12 minutes per batch.
- 3
In a small bowl, stir together the 0.25 cup sriracha, 2 tbsp honey, and 1 tbsp soy sauce. Taste and adjust with more honey if you prefer less heat.
- 4
Drain the fried wings on paper towels, then toss them in the sauce until every wing is coated. Serve hot.
- 5
Optional: sprinkle with sesame seeds or chopped scallions if you have them.
