Ingredients
- 2 lb chicken wings
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ cup hot sauce
- 2 tbsp butter
- 3 cloves garlic
- ¼ cup fresh parsley
Instructions
- 1
Preheat oven to 425°F. Pat the 2 lb chicken wings dry with paper towels, then toss with 2 tbsp vegetable oil, 1 tsp salt, and 1/2 tsp black pepper in a large bowl.
- 2
Arrange wings in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with foil. Bake for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown and crispy, with internal temperature reaching 165°F.
- 3
While wings bake, melt 2 tbsp butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add 3 minced garlic cloves and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- 4
Stir 1/2 cup hot sauce into the butter mixture and simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened. Remove from heat.
- 5
Transfer baked wings to a large bowl, pour the sauce over, and toss to coat evenly. Sprinkle with 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley and serve hot.
- 6
For extra heat, add a pinch of cayenne or red pepper flakes to the sauce. Serve with celery sticks and blue cheese dressing if desired.
