Ingredients

  • 4 pieces naan or pita bread
  • 8 oz ground beef
  • ½ medium yellow onion, finely diced
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • ½ tsp aleppo pepper or red pepper flakes
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • ½ whole fresh lemon

Instructions

    Brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat, breaking it apart with a spoon until no pink remains, ~5 minutes.

    Add diced onion, tomato paste, aleppo pepper, and cumin; stir until fragrant and onion softens, ~2 minutes.
