Ingredients
- ½ lb beef or pork sausage, sliced into half-moons
- ½ lb deli ham or kielbasa, diced
- 6 cups beef broth
- 2 cups diced potatoes
- 1 large dill pickle, diced (plus 3 tbsp brine)
- ¾ cup green olives, pitted and halved
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 medium yellow onion, diced

Heat a large pot over medium-high. Brown sausage and ham together, stirring occasionally, until edges caramelize, ~4 minutes.
