Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 12 count slider buns
- 1 cup lettuce
- 1 medium onion
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon oil
Instructions
- 1
In a bowl, combine 1 lb ground beef, 1 tsp salt, and 0.5 tsp black pepper. Mix gently until just combined, then shape into 12 small patties, about 2 inches wide.
- 2
Heat 1 tbsp oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Place the patties in a single layer, working in batches if needed, and cook until browned on the bottom, about 3 minutes.
- 3
Flip the patties and cook for another 2-3 minutes until cooked through and no longer pink in the center. Transfer to a plate and let rest for 2 minutes.
- 4
While the patties cook, slice 1 medium onion into thin rings. In the same skillet, sauté the onions over medium heat until soft and golden, about 5 minutes.
- 5
Split 12 slider buns and toast them cut-side down in the skillet for 1-2 minutes until lightly golden.
- 6
Assemble each slider: place a patty on the bottom bun, top with a few onion rings and a small handful of lettuce, then cover with the top bun. Serve warm.
