Ingredients

  • 8 oz pork (thinly sliced)
  • 14 oz firm tofu
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp chili oil
  • 2 stalks scallions

Instructions

  1. 1

Cut the 8 oz pork into bite-size pieces and the 14 oz tofu into 1-inch cubes. Thinly slice the 2 scallions, separating white and green parts.

  2. 2

In a medium pot, combine 1 cup chicken broth, 2 tbsp soy sauce, and 1 tbsp chili oil. Bring to a simmer over medium heat.

  3. 3

Add the pork and white scallion parts. Simmer until pork is cooked through, about 5 minutes, and no longer pink inside.

  4. 4

Gently add the tofu cubes. Simmer for 3-4 minutes until tofu is heated through and broth is slightly reduced.

  5. 5

Serve hot, garnished with the green scallion parts. Add extra chili oil if you like more heat.
