Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs ground pork
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • ½ medium yellow onion, diced
  • ¼ cup German mustard (or whole-grain mustard)
  • 1 tsp marjoram or dried thyme
  • ½ tsp black pepper

Instructions

    Mix ground pork, breadcrumbs, half the diced onion, 1 tsp marjoram, salt, and pepper in a bowl until just combined.

    Press the mixture into a loaf shape on a parchment-lined sheet pan, about 2 inches tall.

    Bake at 400°F for 18 minutes, until the top is browned and a meat thermometer reads 160°F at the center.

    Remove from oven and let rest 3 minutes, then slice into 0.5-inch-thick pieces.
