Ingredients
- ¾ lb beef sirloin or ribeye steak
- 1 lb frozen waffle fries
- 1 cup long-grain white rice
- 1 whole green bell pepper
- 1 large tomato
- ½ whole yellow onion
- 2 tsp ground cumin, paprika, oregano (or Turkish seasoning blend)
- 3 tbsp butter or olive oil
Instructions
- 1
Start rice: boil 2 cups salted water, add rice, cover, reduce heat to low, cook 15 min.
- 2
Place frozen fries on a large baking sheet, toss with oil and salt, roast at 400°F for 15 min.
- 3
Slice beef very thin against the grain (~1/8-inch). Pat dry with a paper towel.
- 4
Slice pepper and onion into strips; chop tomato into rough pieces.

Heat butter in a large skillet over medium-high. Brown beef slices in batches, 1–2 min per batch, remove to a plate.
