Ingredients
- 1 lb beef sirloin or ribeye, thinly sliced
- ¼ cup tahini
- 1 whole lemon (juiced)
- 2 tsp cumin, paprika, garlic powder (mixed)
- 2 pieces pita bread
- 1 medium tomatoes, sliced
- ½ cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 8 oz frozen french fries (pre-cooked or fresh-cut)
Instructions
- 1
Start fries in a hot skillet or oven if not pre-cooked; they'll cook while you prep everything else.
- 2
Mix tahini with lemon juice and 2 tbsp water until pourable; season with salt and pepper.
- 3
Pat beef slices dry. Toss with cumin, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- 4
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high until it shimmers, roughly 90 seconds.
- 5
Sear beef in batches, 2–3 minutes per side without stirring—edges should be golden and crispy.
- 6
Warm pita in a dry skillet for 30 seconds per side, then assemble: tahini sauce, beef, tomato, parsley.
- 7
Serve with fries and tahini sauce on the side for dipping.
Tools you’ll need
