Ingredients
- 8 ounce dried beef slices
- ½ cup sesame seeds
Instructions
- 1
Pat the 8 oz dried beef slices dry with paper towels. If they are very thick, gently pound them between two sheets of plastic wrap to about 1/8 inch thickness.
- 2
Place the 1/2 cup sesame seeds in a shallow dish. Press each beef slice into the seeds, coating both sides evenly.
- 3
Heat a dry skillet over medium heat. Add the coated beef slices in a single layer, working in batches if needed.
- 4
Toast each side for 1-2 minutes until the sesame seeds are golden and fragrant, and the beef is warm and slightly crisp at the edges.
- 5
Transfer to a plate and let cool for 2 minutes before serving. Enjoy warm or at room temperature.
