- 1 tbsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ¾ cup plain yogurt
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- ¼ cup sesame seeds

In a large bowl, mix 2 cups flour, 1 tbsp baking powder, and 1/2 tsp salt. Add 3/4 cup yogurt and 1 tbsp olive oil; stir until a shaggy dough forms.

Turn dough onto a floured surface and knead gently for 2 minutes until smooth. Divide into 8 equal pieces and roll each into a 10-inch rope.

Fold each rope in half and twist the two strands together, pinching the ends to seal. Brush each twist with the remaining 1 tbsp olive oil.
