Ingredients

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt or hung curd, strained
  • ¼ cup sweetened condensed milk
  • ⅛ tsp saffron threads
  • 2 whole cardamom pods, crushed
  • 3 tbsp pistachios, roughly chopped
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, halved

Instructions

    Warm milk in a small bowl, add saffron threads and let sit 5 minutes until liquid turns golden.

    In a serving bowl, whisk together strained yogurt and condensed milk until completely smooth.

    Crush cardamom pods with the side of a knife and add seeds to the yogurt mixture, stirring well.

    Pour saffron milk (including threads) into yogurt and fold gently until color is even throughout.

    Divide between bowls and top with chopped pistachios and fresh strawberry halves.
