Roasted Edamame

Crispy-outside, creamy-inside soybeans tossed with sea salt and sesame oil. Ready in 20 minutes with just a sheet pan.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb frozen edamame (in shells)
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • ¾ tsp sea salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder

Instructions

    Preheat oven to 400°F.

    Thaw edamame under cold running water for 2 minutes, then drain and pat very dry.

    Toss edamame with sesame oil, sea salt, black pepper, and garlic powder on a sheet pan.

    Spread in a single layer and roast for 12–15 minutes, shaking the pan halfway through.

    Edamame should look golden and slightly blistered. Transfer to a bowl and serve hot.
