Ingredients

  • 2 packages ramen noodles
  • ½ pound ground beef
  • 2 leaves lettuce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. 1

Cook the 2 packages ramen noodles according to package directions, then drain and let cool slightly. Discard the seasoning packets or save for another use.

  2. 2

In a bowl, mix the 0.5 pound ground beef with 1 tablespoon soy sauce and 0.5 teaspoon salt. Form into 2 patties.

  3. 3

Heat 1 tablespoon vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties until browned and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.

  4. 4

Divide the cooked noodles into 4 equal piles. Press each pile into a flat bun shape. Heat the remaining 1 tablespoon oil in the same skillet over medium heat. Cook the noodle buns until golden and crispy on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.

  5. 5

Assemble the burgers: place a noodle bun on a plate, top with a lettuce leaf, a beef patty, and another noodle bun. Serve immediately.
