Ingredients

  • 6 oz ground pork
  • 3 tbsp black bean paste (jajang)
  • ½ medium onion, diced
  • 1 medium potato, diced small
  • 8 oz fresh ramen or wheat noodles
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

Instructions

    Boil salted water in a pot. Add noodles and cook until al dente, ~4 minutes. Drain and set aside.

    Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high. Brown ground pork, breaking up with a spoon, until no pink remains, ~5 minutes.

    Add onion and diced potato. Sauté until potato is just tender, ~4 minutes.

    Stir in black bean paste and soy sauce until well combined. Cook 1 minute until fragrant.

    Add cooked noodles to the skillet and toss until fully coated in the black sauce.

    Divide into bowls. Top with diced cucumber and green onion if desired. Serve hot.
