Ingredients
- 1 ball store-bought pizza dough (1 lb / 450g)
- ¼ cup whole milk, warm
- 3 tbsp granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- 1 whole egg yolk
- 3 tbsp powdered sugar

Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper.

Mix warm milk with granulated sugar and melted butter in a small bowl until sugar dissolves.

Divide pizza dough into 4 equal pieces. Shape each into a ball, then use your fingers to poke a shallow well in the center of each.

Brush each bun with the milk-sugar mixture. Beat egg yolk with 1 tbsp water and brush over tops for shine.
