Ingredients
- 8 oz spaghetti
- 12 oz shrimp, peeled and deveined
- ½ cup basil pesto
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the 8 oz spaghetti and cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, then drain.

While pasta cooks, heat the 2 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the 12 oz shrimp and season with the 1 tsp salt and 0.5 tsp black pepper. Cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side.

Add the cooked spaghetti and 0.5 cup basil pesto to the skillet with the shrimp. Toss to coat, adding a splash of reserved pasta water if needed to loosen the sauce.
