- ½ cup heavy cream
- ½ cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 2 tbsp sugar
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup whipped cream
- 2 tbsp crushed peppermint candy

In a medium saucepan, whisk together the 2 cups milk, 1/2 cup heavy cream, 2 tbsp cocoa powder, and 2 tbsp sugar. Heat over medium, stirring constantly, until steaming and smooth, about 5 minutes.

Add the 1/2 cup chocolate chips and 1/2 tsp vanilla extract. Continue stirring until the chocolate is fully melted and the mixture is glossy and thick, about 3 minutes.
