Ingredients
- 2 steaks steak
- ½ cup heavy cream
- 1 tbsp black peppercorns
- 2 medium tomatoes
- 2 cups macaroni and cheese
- 1 tbsp chives

Crush the 1 tbsp peppercorns coarsely and press onto both sides of the 2 steaks. Season with salt.

Heat a skillet over high heat, add the steaks and cook for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare, until browned and firm to the touch.

Remove steaks, reduce heat to medium, pour in the 0.5 cup cream and scrape up browned bits. Simmer until slightly thickened, about 2 minutes.

In the same skillet, grill the 2 tomatoes cut-side down for 2-3 minutes until charred and softened.

Serve steaks with sauce, tomatoes, and 2 cups mac and cheese, garnished with 1 tbsp chopped chives.
