Ingredients
- 4 pieces chicken thighs
- 2 tbsp paprika
- 2 sticks cinnamon sticks
- 2 pieces star anise
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt

Pat the 4 chicken thighs dry and season all over with 1 tsp salt and 2 tbsp paprika, rubbing the spice into the meat.

Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high. Add the chicken skin-side down and sear until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes.

Flip the chicken, add 2 cinnamon sticks and 2 star anise to the pan. Reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and cook until the chicken is cooked through and juices run clear, about 10-12 minutes.
