- 1 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- ½ cup chocolate syrup

In a medium bowl, whisk together the 1 cup flour, 2 tsp baking powder, and 2 tbsp sugar. Make a well in the center.

Add the 1 cup milk and 1 egg to the well. Whisk until just combined; a few lumps are fine. Do not overmix.

Heat a lightly oiled griddle or large skillet over medium heat. Pour 1/4 cup batter per pancake. Cook until bubbles form on top, about 2 minutes.
