Ingredients
- 1 lb okra
- 1 medium yellow onion
- 2 medium tomato
- 1 green chili pepper
- 3 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp ground turmeric
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds

Wash and dry the 1 lb okra thoroughly, then trim the stems and slice into 1/2 inch rounds. Set aside.

Heat 3 tbsp vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add 1 sliced onion and 1 chopped green chili, cook until soft and golden, about 6 minutes.

Add the okra and 1 tsp salt. Cook, stirring occasionally, until okra is tender and lightly browned, about 10 minutes. Do not overcrowd the pan.
