Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 cups water
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup blueberries
  • 1 medium apple
  • ½ cup grapes
  • ¼ cup granola
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup

Instructions

  1. 1

In a medium saucepan, bring the 2 cups water and 1/4 teaspoon salt to a boil over high heat.

  2. 2

Stir in the 1 cup rolled oats and reduce heat to medium-low. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the oats are tender and the mixture is creamy, about 5-7 minutes.

  3. 3

While the oats cook, dice the 1 medium apple into small pieces and halve the 1/2 cup grapes if large.

  4. 4

Once the oatmeal is done, remove from heat and let it stand for 1 minute to thicken slightly.

  5. 5

Divide the oatmeal between two bowls. Top each with half of the blueberries, diced apple, grapes, and 2 tablespoons granola.

  6. 6

Drizzle each bowl with 1 tablespoon maple syrup and a sprinkle of cinnamon if desired. Serve warm.
