Ingredients
- 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
- 6 tbsp butter, softened
- 1 whole egg yolk
- ½ cup hazelnut spread (Nutella or similar)
- ¾ cup roasted hazelnuts, chopped
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar

Mix flour, softened butter, egg yolk, and a pinch of salt until a dough forms. Press firmly into a 9×13-inch sheet pan.

Spread hazelnut spread evenly over the dough, leaving a 0.5-inch border. Sprinkle chopped hazelnuts over the spread.

Bake at 375°F for 12–14 minutes until the crust is pale golden and hazelnuts smell fragrant.

Remove from oven and sprinkle sugar over the hot surface. Cool for 5 minutes, then slice into squares.
