Ingredients
- 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
- 6 tbsp butter, cold and cubed
- ½ cup granulated sugar, divided
- 1 whole egg yolks
- 1.5 cups mixed nuts (almonds, hazelnuts), chopped
- ¼ cup heavy cream
- 3 tbsp honey
- 2 oz dark chocolate, chopped or chips

Mix flour, 0.25 cup sugar, and a pinch of salt. Rub in cold butter with your fingers until breadcrumb texture.

Stir in egg yolk until dough just comes together. Press into a 9x13-inch parchment-lined sheet pan.

Bake at 375°F for 10 minutes until pale golden and set. Remove and let cool 2 minutes on the pan.

Combine remaining 0.25 cup sugar, cream, and honey in a small pot over medium heat, stirring constantly.

When mixture bubbles, stir in chopped nuts and cook 1 minute. Spread evenly over warm crust.

Bake another 10–12 minutes until caramel is golden and bubbling at edges. Cool 5 minutes.
