Ingredients

  • 1 9 inch pie crust
  • 1.5 cups walnuts
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup corn syrup
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 oz semisweet chocolate

Instructions

  1. 1

Preheat oven to 350°F. Press the 1 pie crust into a 9 inch tart pan, trimming edges. Prick bottom with fork.

  2. 2

In a medium bowl, whisk 3 eggs, 0.75 cup brown sugar, 0.5 cup corn syrup, 3 tbsp melted butter, and 1 tsp vanilla until smooth.

  3. 3

Stir in 1.5 cups walnuts, then pour mixture into crust. Bake until filling is set and golden, about 35-40 minutes.

  4. 4

Cool tart on a wire rack for 20 minutes. Meanwhile, melt 2 oz chocolate in microwave in 30-second bursts, stirring until smooth.

  5. 5

Drizzle melted chocolate over cooled tart in zigzag pattern. Let set for 10 minutes before slicing.

  6. 6
