Ingredients

  • 1 package (2 sheets) frozen puff pastry sheets (thawed)
  • 1.5 cups heavy cream
  • 3 tbsp granulated sugar
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 package (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

    Lay thawed puff pastry sheets on a cutting board. Trim to 3×4 inches if needed.

    Whip heavy cream, 3 tbsp sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form, ~3 minutes.

    Whisk pudding mix with milk until thick, ~2 minutes. Fold into whipped cream.

    Place one pastry sheet on a plate. Spread half the cream mixture on top evenly.

    Layer the second pastry sheet on top, then spread remaining cream on the surface.

    Dust generously with powdered sugar. Refrigerate 10 minutes, then slice and serve.
