Ingredients

  • 200 g tofu skin
  • 4 pieces dried shiitake mushrooms
  • 100 g dried tofu puffs
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 cups water
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp white pepper

Instructions

    Soak dried shiitake mushrooms in hot water for 30 minutes, then slice thinly.

    Soak tofu skin in warm water until soft, then drain and cut into wide strips.

    Rinse dried tofu puffs under cold water and drain well.

    Heat oil in a wok over medium heat, add mushrooms and stir-fry for 2 minutes.

    Add tofu skin and tofu puffs, then pour in soy sauces, sugar, salt, and pepper.

    Add water, bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.

    Cook until sauce thickens and coats the ingredients, then serve hot.
