Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 cup fresh cilantro
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tsp ground cumin

Instructions

  1. 1

In a bowl, mix 1 lb ground beef, 1 tsp ground cumin, 1 minced garlic clove, and a pinch of salt. Form into 12 small meatballs.

  2. 2

Heat 1 tbsp oil in a large skillet over medium-high. Add meatballs and cook, turning occasionally, until browned all over and cooked through, about 10 minutes.

  3. 3

Meanwhile, blend 1 cup yogurt, 1/2 cup cilantro, 1 garlic clove, and a pinch of salt until smooth. Set aside.

  4. 4

In a small bowl, stir 2 tbsp tomato paste with 2 tbsp water and a pinch of salt to make a quick chutney.

  5. 5

Spread the yogurt sauce on a plate, top with meatballs, drizzle with the tomato chutney, and sprinkle with remaining cilantro.
