Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups frozen mango chunks
  • 1 teaspoon matcha powder
  • ¼ cup hot water (not boiling)
  • 1 cup coconut milk or almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon honey or agave syrup

Instructions

  1. 1

Pour 0.25 cup hot water (around 160–170°F; it should be steaming but not actively boiling) into a small bowl.

  2. 2

Add 1 teaspoon matcha powder to the hot water and whisk with a fork or small whisk for 30 seconds, stirring in circles until the powder dissolves and the mixture looks frothy and smooth with no visible lumps.

  3. 3

Place 1.5 cups frozen mango chunks and 1 tablespoon honey into a blender, then pour the dissolved matcha mixture on top.

  4. 4

Pour 1 cup coconut or almond milk into the blender, then blend on high speed for 45 seconds until the mixture is smooth, creamy, and the frozen mango is completely broken down—no chunks should remain.

  5. 5

Pour the latte evenly into two tall glasses, dividing it so each glass is filled about three-quarters full.

  6. 6

Add ice cubes to the top of each glass if desired, filling to the rim, then serve immediately.
