Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup plain yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • ½ cup water
  • 2 tablespoons oil

Instructions

    Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and sugar in a large bowl.

    Add yogurt and water, then knead into a soft, smooth dough.

    Cover the dough and let it rest for 30 minutes.

    Divide the dough into 6 equal balls and roll each into a round disc.

    Heat a griddle or tawa over medium-high heat and cook each kulcha until bubbles form.

    Flip and cook the other side until golden brown spots appear.
