Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1.75 cups whole milk
  • 4 tbsp butter, melted

Instructions

  1. 1

Preheat waffle iron to medium-high heat, about 3 minutes.

  2. 2

Whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, and a pinch of salt in a large bowl.

  3. 3

Whisk eggs, milk, and melted butter together in a separate bowl until combined.

  4. 4

Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and stir until just combined; small lumps are fine.

  5. 5

Lightly grease waffle iron. Pour 0.75 cup batter into center and close lid.

  6. 6

Cook waffle 3-4 minutes until golden brown and steam stops escaping.

  7. 7

Slide waffle onto a plate. Repeat with remaining batter, 3 more waffles total.

  8. 8

Serve immediately with butter, maple syrup, or fresh toppings.
